AXIAL FORM FACTOR
Fine-tune bullet drag to match the unique 
characteristics of your barrel and muzzle device. 
Adjustments to the Axial Form Factor can be made 
at any distance (400–800 meters recommended) 
without requiring transonic or subsonic conditions. 
This ensures an optimal match between the 
calculator and real-world performance.
ZERO ANGLE
An alternative to traditional zero range, Zero Angle calculates trajectory based on the barrel’s 
launch angle. By establishing a fixed zero angle, users can maintain consistent accuracy without 
the need to re-zero, regardless of environmental changes or shooting conditions.
MUZZLE VELOCITY
No need for muzzle velocity “truing.” Simply 
input the measured muzzle velocity, and the 
calculator accounts for temperature effects using 
a Temperature Sensitivity Factor (TSF) derived 
from testing or selected from a propellant library. 
This eliminates guesswork and enhances accuracy 
in varying conditions.
Cartridges not designed for long range application are not available in the Hornady Ballistics App.
